the Space inBetween —
inBetween is a Toronto-based fashion startup encapsulating a style that feels elevated, yet never flashy. We create pieces made for real life — thoughtfully designed, carefully constructed with quality materials, and fairly priced for people like us.
We believe in the uniqueness of individual style while admiring the beauty of minimalism. At the heart of inBetween is a search for balance — between expression and restraint.
inBetween grew from over a decade in fashion, beginning at the ground level and evolving into the co-founding of Farda.design — an experimental project where clothing became a form of expression rather than product. That journey later expanded into Farda Basic, a sustainable and accessible line designed for everyday life.
What began as modern experimentation gradually took on deeper meaning: a quiet attempt to reinterpret traditional hijab coverings through contemporary art. In a highly censored and conservative society, this work was both creative and courageous.
Along the way, we met other talented independent Iranian designers who shared the same vision. We were once restricted in our homeland — some of us were fortunate enough to rebuild in the safety of Canada, some still waiting, and some left behind. Not fully from here, no longer fully from there.
We exist in that space in between.
Between what we left behind and what we are becoming.
Between origin and arrival.
Between memory and possibility.

Toronto Fashion Runway
In 2024, inBetween was selected to present at Fashion Art Toronto, one of Canada’s leading fashion platforms. Our show received strong positive feedback from both the event organizers and attending press. The collection was subsequently featured in FASHION Magazine, highlighting inBetween’s distinct aesthetic and thoughtful approach to contemporary design.
